It’s Not a competition

This goes out to all those who's wives are struggling with how their men look dressed.

I had issues with how Margo looked when we first met and we would go out shopping. I was very jealous of the fact that she made such a good looking women. After tears, looking within myself and long talks with her. I discovered it was NOT a competition between us. I do the best I can with the features god gave me. I still have to give myself pep talks from time to time. I am as good looking as any women out their. Its not easy to see someone who is several sizes smaller then yourself looking better then you, but I would rather she look better than me because she try's so hard to do so, it makes it easier for me to go out with her and not feel ashamed of being seen with my life partner.

Everyone has some features they can try to play up, be it their eyes, lips, hair. whatever it is, be sure to tell your wife what her best features are and give a  genuine complement to her. Don't just say it, pull her in close to you. look her in the eye. In other words get her full attention when you say it, and MEAN IT.  Make sure you do it often, especially when your both going out dressed, it is a must. Don't let her just shrug it off saying "what ever" to you. Some women have a hard time taking a complement to heart, like they are not deserving of it. Help her build up her self esteem. People tend to dislike so many things about themselves they need to focus on the positive.

Good luck to all.
